Event Description

Come and join us to our coffee talk get together this Friday May 27 starting 7:30 PM and onwards. We'll do it @ Yiyi's place "Backyard coffee" on Sanlitun.

For the regulars, I guess you know the place, for the ones who don't know the place see the map and direction below

The closest subway station is Liangmaqiao Station.

If you get off the Line 10 subway at the Liangmaqiao Station. Take the exit D (South East). Walk to the south. You should be going to the same direction as the cars on your side of the road. Right after passing the Liang Ma River, turn right at the Liang Ma River South Rd （亮马河南路）. You will see a few embassies on your left. Walk along the river for about 500 meters. After passing the first intersection (with no traffic light), you will see a few restaurants on your left. Carry on for another 500 meters until you reach a T-intersection, Backyard will be on your left.

The place is not too big, outside can sit 10 to 15 people and inside can sit approx 20 people, so depending how many people we'll be we can take outside or inside or both, and hope the weather will be nice so that we can sit outside :-)

It is not a restaurant but a coffee shop, they have coffee, tea, drinks, muffins, salads and sandwiches, the owner Yiyi being a nutritionist so all her meals are health oriented.

After the coffee talk if anybody would like to hang around the area, you’re welcome.

@Stefan, I think they also have tea, but you can text message to Yiyi she will tell you........ I'm not sure......... I know she told me that she brought good Soya milk because last time we had vegetarian people in the group who couldn't drink the coffee with normal milk.......
