Dawanggang, Huang Qian Zou Ban/ Wild Tune Stray Rhythm- Selection
A late CD launch
Admission: 80 rmb
“Wild Tune Stray Rhythm” secretly grew for a few years, in the Year of the Tiger it ripened into a CD, it needed the Year of the Dragon to bring it to light onstage. There must be a reason for all this. It is the first time the whole band comes together to perform these songs live, everybody is welcome to come and listen.
-Dawanggang is an ensemble founded in 2009 by Song Yuzhe, former Wood Pushing Melon leader. The band is committed to bringing together musicians from all sorts of backgrounds so as to reach beyond differences and create new musical dimensions.
-The selection Huang Qian Zou Ban (Wild Tune Stray Rhythm) is made from the three conceptual albums “Three Dakini are Discussing”, “Liberating No Man’s Land”, and “Ashik Castle”.
