MAMA Funker (Brazilian Funk and Originals)... a name chosen by the multi talented guitarist and Singer of the band was at first debated by certain group members, however, it soon became the name on so many lips as they would laugh at the first hearing of the name then grow to love it because the band so dramatically portrays its name Mama Funker!!!

With Fabão on Guitar and vocals, Wang Pen Fei on drums, Pierre Pradat on piano and Philippe Mege on Bass, the band in an anonymous individual's terms "breaks down the place" and leave the crowd wanting more at every venue they perform.
