Elephant Fresh (formerly Ashtray Lifeguards) evolved from the explosive punk-funk-rap-rock outfit, Love’s Tourettes, and carry on their quest to meld divergent sounds – psychedelic-soul and electro-funk, indie-rock and hip-hop, even Middle Eastern scales and ska – surprising the listener with unexpected twists and turns while holding it all together with a thumping groove and relentless energy. Adding new members with ever more nationalities has infused their original music with a new complexity, and their sometimes chaotic live shows reveal their multiple personalities, all in good fun.

The band is founded at March 2011, which has 5 members of senior musicians.
They create a wonder world with novel sound & mockery style lyrics. Their songs are full of imagination, and what they think & feel of present social.
Percussions & drums made of industrial material, are as of basic rhythm, combine with heavy bass rhythm and original instrument sound. These songs are kinds of new sound, meanwhile mix with post-rock, new-wave, blues, industrial & electronica style. With beautiful & strange melody, interesting lyrics, they create cutting-edge music.
