hello dear fellow neters, bloggers, i came to bj stuff, it has been a week, loved it, the forums are fun, blogs are nice too, but here are the things that i wish were not there, no offense
1. bj stuff is more kinda a planner or whats in beijing events etc, its more of an advertising site reminds me of a hotel planning service or tour operation..& that too is of the intrested party.
2. its filled with english teachers, and come here and morning classes, evening classes etc, i mean its really good to learn and teach but guys please put all that into another section, dont ruin the main show (again no offense)
3. and rarely i see anyone chatting in the main bjstuff Chat. its would be really fun to talk with everyone here, participate in the live chat
4. the forums need to be more quality based, we should have more serious mature talk 7 ofcourse the light entertaining gossips.
5. it somehow misses about what beijing really is, we all see beijing as how we have opted to it and flexed ourselves, rather than seeing beijing as the locals do,
so come one guys give me ideas, i really am looking to have my input, and please m sorry if i have had offended any one or party, its just constructive purposes, so tell me what are your ideas? feel free to share...

It's a nightlife website, so events are content. No one pays to list events, by the way. There's very little advertising here.

I haven't seen much of it on the main page, unless you mean within the language groups which are created for teaching.

True. People rarely use chat. However, there's a new version of chat coming in the next couple of months that should change that.

I try to moderate as little as possible. Sometimes I set the forum so the most popular topics go back to the top. But then those wind up staying at the top. So I toggle back and forth between newest and most popular.
5. it somehow misses about what beijing really is, we all see beijing as how we have opted to it and flexed ourselves, rather than seeing beijing as the locals do,
Why not start blogging about this? One thing I've noticed is that Chinese males rarely speak here. Maybe they are worried about their English more than Chinese females. They visit, but lurk more than talk. Members sharing content, commenting and organizing events is what makes the site interesting and active.
