We are welcoming you to join our English Community that normally attracts foreigners and English speaking Chinese to make some new friends, share your thoughts, and improve your English communication skills with relaxed, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. We will have some interesting topics to talk about and dramatic activates and games to play with and have fun, and share experience to learn from one another on how to improve your English communication skills. You will make some new friends, have language learning partners, or meet your ideal match here.

We will charge 15 yuan per each, and offer you drink for free. We are welcoming you here to join us, and looking forward to seeing you soon.

The event is on Saturday afternoon 4th Sep. from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, at Tong Xue Hui Dinning Saloon inside the yard of Xi Yuan Hotel. It is opposite to the West Gate of Beijing Industry University.
You can take the subway (Line 10) to JinSong (C Exit), and then change the No. 801 Bus to the West Gate of Beijing Industry University. After getting off, you can walk forward along the street, and then you will find that restaurant.

活动地点：北京朝阳区平乐园100号熙园宾馆院内同学汇校园主题餐厅（北京工业大学西门对面）。
地铁路线：坐地铁10号线到劲松站C口出来，出来坐801路到工业大学站下车，向前走约200米。
坐地铁1号线到大望路站B口出来， 坐988、486、605、852、973等等到北京工业大学（西门）下车。
开车路线：由南向北到三环潘家园桥往东第三个路口左转到北工大西门。由北向南到劲松桥向东到西大望路右转到第三个红绿灯掉头到工大西门。
活动费用：所有活动参加者15元每人（现场支付AA制）

I am no expert on learning language, but I think one should forget the classics and novels at first, and instead read in your own area of interest. If you like to travel, read basic travel stories and geography. If you like business, read world reports on companies and economic activity. If you like nature, read geographic and ecology summaries. My Chinese is so new and weak that I can only read in baby steps: simple conversations, websites and the lowest level of news. I hope one day to read actual Chinese writings.
