@ wangjiang, we booked the whole rooftop terrace which can accommodate 40 to 50 people, so far we have 12 people confirmed.... the more the merrier...

Chinese Corner.

Hey guys, I’m thinking about organize a Chinese corner. Find some nice park or café, foreigners who want to practice oral Chinese get-together, talk about your lives or have a group discussion on some specific topics. I can be the host and the teacher, correct your mistakes or teach some daily Chinese. Just like those English corners in Beijing. I think this will be much more interesting than one-to-one language exchange. If anyone interested, leave me a message here or contact me on QQ. My QQ number is 568932736. To be clear,

First, this is not an advertisement and I’m not going to make money on this. I’m trying to help those who really want to learn Chinese. I take this seriously. Don’t contact me unless you mean it.

Second, I don’t have the ambitions to do something big. I think 4-6 people will be enough, for everyone can have more chance to practice.

Third, since I haven’t done anything like this before, we need to cooperate, discuss details, to see how to make this thing work. And we share expenses together.

Fourth, I hope anyone wants to join this Chinese corner can at least speak basic Chinese sentences, rather than only words. I’m not a professional Chinese teacher, I can’t teach you word by word.

Clothing SWAP in April! Bigger space, more fun, relaxing, mingling and SWAP (exchange) clothes, shoes and accessories you no longer need or wear. It’s a fun way to spend time with friends. Rules:

1. Everything should be washed, dry and in good repair.  If it is a dressy item, it should be ironed. 

1. Things like bathing suits, undergarments and socks are worn close to the body and there may be a limited market for these items in the group. 

1. Items left over from the swap, unless the owners wish to take them back, can then be donated to charity shop.

1. No fight!!! But ‘Paper Scissors Rock’ is allowed.
