It tells the joys and sorrows of a Chinese journalist, Zhang Yan, now 91, and his legendary story for more than half a century;
It is also the moving stories of the friendship between this Chinese reporter and his American friends in the last 60 years, especially those from the Flying Tigers.
To make this documentary, we have been tracing and following the experience and stories of this journalist, his family and American friends in China and the US as long as 10 years and more. And for making this documentary we have been flying between New York and Beijing for more than 30 times!

Hi Guys, I have just moved here from Shanghai and would like to meet some book loving people and share some thoughts together. I will use my spacious apartment on Andingmen Nei Dajie to host a book-swap meeting.(15-20 people)
The location is also very close to Fangjia Hutong, where people can go for a drink later if they like. :)
