Cuandixia is 120km and all uphill. It took me 5 and a half hours on my Nomad with road tyres. So it's a 2 day trip for sure. 3 would be better or it's possible to rent a van if you get tired. In my case I got terribly saddle sore that day - ouch! It was a great village for a couple of days there are some nice walking trails in the area

i can not cycle. last April, cycling along lake Michigan was my first try. it was a shame that i rented a kid's bicycle with a Sponge bob purse. but still, so much fun! who cares!

I have been here 3 mos and I am having my cycles(mtb and road) brought over with some friends. I have a cheap road bike now and would be interested in tooling around the city until my 07 Bianchi SS 29er gets here. Anybody up for dragging a newbie to the area around on the pavement? As for the topic YES, I love to camp and cycle in the woods got some ideas for pre-planning?
