One day hike in Baihe Valley of Huairou District on Jan 14,2012

If you want to hike the Baihe Valley on Saturday please meet at the McDonalds inside the transport hub (adjacent to exit B) at Dongzhimen (the intersection of Line 13 and Line 2).

The time to meet is 7:30am. From there we will get the 916 bus to Huariou, and then exchange another bus or take a black cab to the village. Please note that the cost of the bus is approximately 6Yuan one way. If take a taxi will be around 100 per taxi (so about 20 each). The admission fee may be 2Yuan.

 The distance is about 10km and it will take us about 6 hours. If you want to come please be advised it will be a hard hike in very cold weather.You`d better have some insurance. You must take care of yourself. You must take responable for the safety of yourself (你要为自己的安全负责) . Please wear good hiking shoes/boots  Also bring plenty of water (3bottles) as well as some food for lunch.If everything is ok, we can arrive Dongzhimen at 8 pm.

ATTENTION:

Most of the road is Asphalt road not wild road.
