We are welcoming you to join our English Community that normally attracts foreigners and English speaking Chinese to make some new friends, share your thoughts, and improve your English communication skills with relaxed, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. We will have some interesting topics to talk about and dramatic activates and games to play with and have fun, and share experience to learn from one another on how to improve your English communication skills. You will make some new friends, have language learning partners, or meet your ideal match here.

We will charge 15 yuan per each, and offer you drink for free. We are welcoming you here to join us, and looking forward to seeing you soon.

The event is on Saturday afternoon 4th Sep. from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, at Tong Xue Hui Dinning Saloon inside the yard of Xi Yuan Hotel. It is opposite to the West Gate of Beijing Industry University.
You can take the subway (Line 10) to JinSong (C Exit), and then change the No. 801 Bus to the West Gate of Beijing Industry University. After getting off, you can walk forward along the street, and then you will find that restaurant.

You are welcome to send me any questions about our parties, and you can take a look at http://blog.sina.com.cn/elcbj or http://www.bjstuff.com/profile/JennyXu to know more about in details. So, if you want to help our community to become well known to a wider audience and more attractive, feel free to join us on weekends.

NO NAME QUARTET

An international group, based in Beijing, China, specializing in swinging French sounds from long ago. The quartet consists of Zoe Wang, China’s foremost accordionist, Nico Torrese (guitar) from France ,Daniel Brustman (guitar) from the USA and Sebastian Meyer (double bass) from Germany. And No Name Quartet is the only one that playing music with an accordion , two guitars and a double bass .

The group has played numerous events for foreign embassies and consulates, Alliance Franciase, L’Association des Francophones de Pékin, and multi-national companies as well as countless bar and restaurant gigs. They have participated in several large-scale music festivals in China and France and have just completed a series of engagements in Vietnam.

No Name Quartet has began a pleasant musical journey with Treemusic Record companies in 2010 ,and released their the first album and named is .

is no name quartet group’s the first album, The group’s repertoire is centered around the music of Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz he pioneered in 1930’s Paris as well as (slightly) more modern French and American standards.

No Name Quartet :

Guitar: Daniel Brustman(USA)

Guitar: Nico Torrese(France)

Accordion: Zoe Wang(China )

Double Bass: Sebastian Meyer(Germany)

Nico Torrese and Daniel Brustman met six years ago in Beijing, China. They developed a unique style of playing gypsy jazz arranged for two guitars — the rhythm guitar plays bass lines on the 5th and 6th strings, a technique derived from American bluegrass music, thus allowing them to perform without a bassist. Initially focusing on the music of gypsy legend Django Reinhardt, they gradually expanded their repertoire to include American jazz standards, blues and 1960’s French pop.

Zoe Wang has played the accordion since she was four years old. She graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music. Afterwards, she has periodically studied in France under the acclaimed accordionist Frédéric Deschamps. She began playing with Torrese and Brustman in 2007.

Sebastian Meyer in Frankfurt, Germany Jazz Academy graduate, majoring in jazz and popular music. He has more than compose music for film and TV, also participates in many jazz, opera and television music recordings. In April 2009 he joined the No Name band, adding many new musical elements.
