wow ,so many poets in this group, hope to meet you.
There is something saying,
The furthest distance in the world is not between you and me apart,
If we always thing about each other,
the distance will not work oin that
No matter where you are or what you look like,
My making friend rules is:
ignore outlook of you
ignore wealthy or poor of you
ignore whether you are health or not of you
i just need to you to share my sadness when i am weak
I just wanna you to be happy
that is what i need to do for me
with all my wishes to you
by Robert Burns(1759-1796)
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,And never brought to mind?Should auld acquaintance be forgot,And auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne. And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,And surely I'll be mine! And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne.We twa hae run about the braes,And pu'd the gowans fine; But we've wandered mony a weary fitSin' auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne.We twa hae paidled i' the burn,Frae morning sun till dine; But seas between us braid hae roaredSin' auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne. And there's a hand, my trusty fiere,And gie's a hand o' thine! And we'll tak a right guid-willie waughtFor auld lang syne. For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,For auld lang syne.
One Hundred Flowers Bloom
'Gather your stones, prepare to let fly
we'll rest on your shoulders, we're one you and I
As weeping Haui shadows cast light on the gloom
we're all us and I, let a hundred flowers bloom'
I've been to the valleys, lotus fields and chrome peaks,
seeking the words you sought me to speak
but all I encountered as I melted there
was a single red flower, on a burnt railway stair.
'Lather your bones, breathe in as you sigh
your word was your word, now an eye for an eye'
As day loses light, on crimson in bloom
float a hundred wilted petals, it's not safe to assume.
The Home Fires
Oxen of the sun, birthing canal
Wilde on his rock, colouring banal
Bram stoking fires, Behan's door ajar
Kavanagh with kindling, hailing Synge from afar
Yeats in Ithicabra, polishing his horse
Beckett in Bray, waiting in morse
Joyce yet awanders, ash thatched to hand
plitting a plot, plotting a plan
