Mom, my lovely mom

I went back to Foshan - where I was born, to see my parents ( also meet a client) and had dinner with parents last Friday. I called parents to order food in the restaurant and eat first if I was late or if they were hungry.

When I finally arrived at the restaurant, mom and dad were eating already. I was so glad to see their happy faces.  Dad asked mom to bring me soup, so I could enjoy mom's soup while eating restaurant's food. Mom's soup is always the best:-)

Visited home of Mao Zedong

Posted on February 19, 2012 at 2:16pm 0 Comments

Curious during CNY, how many people went to visit Mao's home. I was one of them this year, lined up for about 15 minutes to finally took a small tour in his place. Heard that his father was a businessman, the home was well organized with 13 rooms, and a total of 472.94 square meters. Loctus pond, bamboo and mountain around. Impressive. The neighbours have to move to elsewhere as now the home becomes one of the most important memorial places in Hunan province.

When he is not that into you, do you give up immediately?

Any better place to live and work?

Posted on March 9, 2010 at 10:03pm 1 Comment

Beijing is fantastic, it is full of opportunities. But some people do not find its place in here and go
to other parts of China, like Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Dalian, etc. You like it here in Beijing?
Where else do you wish to explore?

Well, what I meant by the service area (not sure if its the right name) is the banking, insurance, sales, turism, etc. There seems to be much more of that than something like assembly or manufacturing companies. But as I mentioned there are a few high tech facilities and some companies in the manufacturing industry.

Also the civil engineering, construction and consulting is strong there.

I need all the help I can get, waiting for warmer weather to start several projects. Some assistants but not always available for film projects. I have to use my time carefully and concentrate on the best options that will provide an income to support my artistic endeavours. The real estate will be the best income when up and running. Nothing good is easy. Nice to here from you and your interest. Russell
