The keys to speaking Chinese
We’ve all experienced language learning at school. Thirty people in a classroom more or less, one third doodling, one third day-dreaming, the last third trying to somewhat follow what’s going on and two student’s fighting for the teacher’s attention.

Poolpartay
My dear good friend bought a pool on Taobao, a little while ago. The thing arrived yesterday. And it came with toys, too. One very particular looking item turned out to be an inflatable hammer.

Miss China and friends there
Back in America for almost a year. I love it here..clean air, driving around in my own car without traffic, beautiful blue skies and a job where I always get paid on time and the right amount...
But I miss the friendliness of the Chinese people, the fun parties and good times and so much fun I had in China. I'll be back someday to visit.

Funny skies and life lessons
The sky had a funny shade of darkbrown when I woke up this morning. Even at 12.30 it is not even remotely light enough up here in room 604. Which is surprising cos we are at the corner of our building with windows everywhere.
That's beside the point. Let's not waste valuable space japping about the weather.
What did I want to jap about........
Maybe I can share some life lessons I learned yesterday with you folks.
Lesson number 1: If you feel like…

Car hugging for a living
I know it makes way more sense to hug trees. They are alive. They hug back, in a way. They are green. Cars are the opposite of green. So are airplanes.
We are drifting off.
Let's start at the beginning. A very good place to start (this quote is totally stolen from 'The Sound of Music', from the part where Fräulein Maria teaches the Von Trapp bunch how to sing. Again with the drifting off). Monday I got a call, saying I had to work at tuesday and wednesday. Then there was…

A Nice Joke
This is a nice I got it in my e-mail, although I read it quite long time ago, but it's a nice one, so I'm sharing it...

The barber looked around at the…

To whom it may concern
Dear Whom,
you may or may not have notice I've not been around so much. I am terribly sorry. Life is busy though. Apart from obligatory studies, school and classrelated mayhem (exams) and guycrap (shoot me now), I somehow got on the school team to participate a very important and citywide sports event (流动中国比赛). As 拉拉队 dancer. Anone who knows me even a tiny little bit knows this is not really my cup of tea. I tried, and asked, but they did not have a skating contest, or a can-lifting…
