~ A Simple Doll ~

This is a touching story that I read last night, I would like to share it with you

A guy asked his girlfriend what she would like to have for her 18th birthday, the girl whispered in his ear “a Diamond Ring”.

Her boyfriend promised that he would buy a diamond ring for her 18th birthday, and the girl was very happy.

She bought make-ups, new clothes and new shoes to look pretty on her birthday evening… then a night before her 18th birthday, she went to the salon to have her hair done to look beautiful the next day..

Finally the night of her birthday arrived. She looked elegant, gorgeous, the dream girl of every man. Everybody was focused on her. The party started when her boyfriend arrived… with a simple doll…as a gift…. When the girls saw this, she got mad at her boyfriend. She thought he would give her a diamond ring and NOT a doll, she grabbed the doll and threw it out on the street.

Astonished, the guy ran as fast as he could to get the doll back, but in his rush he didn’t notice a car passing by which hit him…he died in hospital after a few hours.

The girl felt very sorry, she cried every minute when she remembered everything. During the burial the girl remembered all the good times that they had together while he was still alive,… she hugged the doll tightly.. full of love and regret…

She was shocked when the doll talked and said “Happy birthday baby, will you marry me? Take the Diamond Ring out of my pocket hope you’ll like it. I LOVE YOU”.

The girl went into tears…. and said in her heart,  “I’m sorry baby! I didn’t know I love you too!”

Don’t judge things from their appearance…. Look deeper, it might have hidden treasure inside….
