i hate Sanlitun's area not only there sold one bottle of normal beer was 30yuan or more in all bars.cos beijing really is a big city and there have so much places for chill out and not only sanlitun.such as if ya wanna buy some cheap clothing .the beijing zoo is totally good place and not yaxiu or another market in yong an li or CBD.It's true somethings in sanlitun is better than other places and have some good building.but this is really not a good excause for luv here.anyways if ya have more friends in beijing and they lived in all diffrenet parts of beijing that's a good way for feels and seeking in beijing.

U know what?....sometimes just to meet up sanlitun is simply convenient, everybody know it! but...
What about Nanluo guxiang, the Hutong in Gulou Dongdajie, is beautiful!...I ve been in an AIDS event at the Salud bar, was soooo nice! friendly atmosphere, cool people.....and good drinks too!

I don't remember the name 'Nanluo guxiang', but is that this long long slim hutong street close to huohai where all this nice relaxed bars are?

absolutely true dolores....i live not too far from Nan Guo Lu Xiang....and it is a great area....
the only problem with it is things tend to close a little early....because it is in the middle of a residential neighbourhood....and there are licensing restrictions...
there are also limitations on the type and volume of music you can present...and the time of performances...
this doesn't alter the fact that it is a really cool place to spend an evening.....but it does mean there are no late night bars and dance clubs.....which is what people go to san li tun for
